Canal Street Bridge Replacement

Project Info

Kinsley replaced the existing single-span bridge on State Route 441 where it crosses an unnamed tributary to the Susquehanna River in Dauphin County.

Our scope of work included:

  • 100 linear feet of road reconstruction
  • Milling and overlaying 450 linear feet of roadway
  • New precast and concrete-in-place box culverts to replace the existing bridge
  • New guard rails and a pedestrian hand rail

The project also required an existing gas line be relocated. Our team installed a steel casing pipe beneath the box culvert and coordinated with the local utility company for installation of the new line.
